Fernando Ruiz, an award-winning Cinematographer based in London, burst onto the film scene at the tender age of 14, crafting an exceptional debut that earned him acclaim in various film festivals and paved his way to film school.
Now a seasoned cinematographer, Fernando boasts a captivating portfolio that includes six feature films, numerous shorts, and collaborations with globally acclaimed brands such as Samsung, Universal Music, Ticketmaster, and AstraZeneca, among others. He recently shot a multimillion-pound Christmas campaign for JD Sports.
Fernando's passion lies in narrative work, where his signature is marked by meticulous attention to detail and a profound exploration of story and character motivation, often transcending conventional notions of beauty.
Most significantly, Fernando recently lensed 'RAVENS,' set to release in 2024. Anticipated to be an award-worthy piece and directed by Oscar and BAFTA nominee Mark Gill, the film intricately unravels the captivating life of the legendary Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase.
